A much improved Madison blue Devils team traveled to the Valley to take on the Otselic Valley Vikings. In the first half both team had some opportunities that were turned away by keepers and missed the goal by inches. Possession in the first half was 50/50. In the 2nd half the Viking played with more intensity which lead to more chances the score. The Vikings were able to take 1-0 lead with 11 mins left on a pass from Lukas Schieferstein that got batted around and landed in open space with the keeper out of position and Owen Davis was there to finish! OV was able to keep the Devils out the goal with some solid defense for time remaining. Standout play for Madison was #23 Lucas Neff and #18 Hunter Williams. Stand out play for OV was #6 Owen Davis, #8 Lukas Schieferstein, and #18 Austin Brown.
